We Are Golden Gardens and We Love You. Be Seduced By Our Magick… And help us fund the post-production phase of our brand new album, How Brave The Hunted Wolves!
We are proud to announce the completion of our new 10 track album! The writing has been done, the recording has been finished, and now we need to send these fancy songs off to be pampered and dolled-up with some professional mastering and mixing! (And that’s where you magical folks come in…)
Golden Gardens is a dreamgaze duo from Seattle, WA comprised of vocalistAubrey Rachel Violet Bramble and multi-instrumentalist/composer Gregg Alexander Joseph Neville. Our music has been described as ”soothing dream-pop at its best… what it sounds like when Quentin Tarantino goes to sleep”(Seattle Weekly) that “[wafts] somewhere among Julee Cruise’s silky lullabies, Cranes’ tremulous hymns, and Slowdive’s aquatic symphonies” (The Stranger).
We have been lucky enough to record, produce and release our music on our own to this point and in keeping with this tradition we’d like to release this new album in the same way but on a much bigger (and more professional) scale. We’re having our tracks mastered for the first time, which we hope will produce a fuller, more magical sound. So us, only fancier. To help illustrate how great we’re planning this new album to sound, play our first single (and newly mastered track) Transparent Things below:

In order to get the other 9 tracks mastered, we need to raise some funds. We feel weird about just asking you for your hard-earned money, so we’ve come up with some extremely creative and artsy-fancy rewards for those of you that are able to monetarily support our project…
We’re offering everything from stickers to t-shirts, advanced downloads to guest appearances and even SUPER SPECIAL LIMITED EDITION BOX SETS FULL OF MAGIC! Seriously, guys, these box sets are going to be AMAZING.
Aubrey and Gregg are working on producing a conceptual film that will serve as a piece of companion artwork to the album. Aubrey will shoot and edit the film, and Gregg will compose the score. Both box sets include a DVD of this film.Box set #2 also includes the score on CD. This film will be limited to 30 copies ONLY! No more will ever be made! There will only be 20 CDs of the score produced. EVER! Think of it as our Cremaster Cycle.
In addition, Aubrey (an artisan parfumeur in her spare time) is creating 2 companion scents to the album! There will be a masculine and a feminine scent included in both box sets, as well as in the prize packs for all $50 pledges. These scents will only be made as Kickstarter rewards and won’t be available anywhere else. Each scent will come in a 10 ml glass rollerball container.
Each of the box sets will also include the album in both digital and physical formats, plus stickers and surprise prizes. Box set #2 will also include the limited edition album t-shirt.
